July 1st at 7:30pm (EDT), 8:30pm (ADT), 9pm (NDT). In celebration of Canada turning 140, Rogers Television, for the first time ever, will be broadcasting all of the evening festivities live from our nation’s capital. The National Capital Commission’s 3 hour event will feature incredible performances by Juno award winners Feist and Tomi Swick, as well as Canadian Idol Eva Avila, Shaye and more, plus incredible acrobatics and the electrifying fireworks spectacular. Canada Day - Live from Parliament Hill can be seen on: * Rogers Television stations across Ontario, New Brunswick and NFLD * Live web stream at CanadaDayLive.ca * In High Definition on channel 501(available to Rogers Personal TV customers with high definition boxes and an HDTV) * For viewers outside the Rogers broadcast area, the show will be made available to other cable community stations.
